The Dunes formed late 2010 in Adelaide, Australia.
Stacie is from Texas. Matt is from Adelaide.
The Dunes played their first ever gig in early April 2011 and have been playing solid ever since – winning over audiences with their atmospheric soundscapes and songs evoking the dreaminess of Mazzy Star and the dusty haze of Calexico.
The Dunes released their debut single ‘Going Under’ in July 2011 with seperate launches in Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia.
