If you want to come to an event and watch fire spinners and watch a big art piece burn, go to Phoenixville’s Firebird Festival.  There is entertainment such as bands and street performers.  There are food vendors and artists selling wares.

Music and other events starts around 4pm till the drum parade at 7:30 that brings people down to the bird, that gets lit at 8.

Stellarscope will be performing after School of Rock somewhere in the early evening.

Firedancers for the Firebird Festival are provided by our friends of The Playing Mantis. They’re very excited to be attending this unique and exciting community event, and are looking forward to a great burn! Based out of Wilmington, DE, The Playing Mantis travels the east coast providing fire performance, instruction, and supply. http://theplayingmantis.com  

Their featured performers this evening are: SnapDragon, Mantis, Omni, and Smokey
