Translation from Portuguese:

Tom Lugo is one of those prolific  and versatile guys in the world of music, from the top of the pyramid, insists on ignoring. Renato Malizia did the favor of presenting it here in this edition of his column “Noise Waves” on the latest album from his band, the Stellarscope. The connection was born strong, because the gringo knows things. Then, later, Lugo himself tells me the release of this EP, “Christmas Prayer”.

It is, of course, a Christmas album. Symbolically, cover up the textures of each of the five songs, four of them instrumental, through the title. “Christmas Prayer” and “20 Days Remain (‘Til Christmas)” are compelling examples of dream-pop (maybe the genre, or sub-genre, most of those who like Christmas) to pack the party nights and who knows, steal a tear or other, and “Little Drummer Boy” is one of the more carols and simple Gothic of all time.
